Danny is from a small, mountain community outside of Belen Gualcho, Ocotepeque. He and his brother (Darlin, who is graduating from the Project in 2024) arrived in 2023. They have been exemplary students and both have served as mentors in 2024. Danny is an active participant in any activity and class he has attended. Danny is charismatic and dedicated. He has a playfulness and joy that uplifts those around him but he knows when it is time to do the necessary work. Danny is a natural leader and has used those abilities to the betterment of his classmates and the good of the project as a whole. Although he is still young and has plenty of time left at the project he already stands out as one of the heads of our community. Danny hopes to study in University upon graduating from the Project. He is thankful to the Project because “I am learning about God, how to be a good student, and because it gives me a very important scholarship for me and my family. Thanks to the Project I am better than I was before.”
