Eduar is the oldest of 6 siblings. He is kind and soft spoken but he is not bashful. He often finds himself in the middle of activity and socializing. Eduar joined the project in 2024 and as one of the younger students has made a name for himself. That name is “Onion” (or “cebolla” in spanish but you can usually hear his peers calling him either). Eduar is quick to give thanks where it is due. He comes from a humble community near La Campa, Lempira. His family has ample space to farm but it is not the most fertile ground. Eduar has always helped his father and at his young age has learned the importance of hard work and the delayed gratification of planting and waiting for a harvest. Eduar has made himself an integral part of the soccer team at the project. His willingness to work at getting better and learning new skills has been key to his success during his short time here. Although he has had some academic struggles this year, thanks to your sponsorship, he will have the resources available to him and his attitude and openness towards learning will only serve him well in the years to come.
