Omar joined the project in 2023. Omar’s step-father is a carpenter from an isolated community near La Campa, Lempira. Omar has grown up with a close relationship with his mother and this made the original decision to come to the Project a difficult one. Omar has worked hard and has had academic success. He is eager to please and likes to be where the action is. He is caring and helpful. Omar works hard for success and wants to be a leader in his class as well as in the Project. With a little more discipline and dedication of time to his studies he can achieve his personal goal of being top of his class. Omar loves to study English and is eager to use what he learns at any opportunity. He is thankful for the opportunity to learn more here in the Project and is excited about the chance to talk to his future sponsor.
